Misty Mountain Hop

«Misty Mountain Hop» es una canción de la banda inglesa Led Zeppelin, la quinta de su famoso álbum sin nombre de 1971. En Estados Unidos y Australia fue lanzada como lado B del sencillo «Black Dog», aunque aún de ese modo era pasado regularmente en las radios.

Fue compuesta por Jimmy Page, Robert Plant y John Paul Jones en Headley Grange, una mansión en Hampshire que contaba con un estudio de grabación, y lugar en donde el grupo vivía a veces.

Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin fue un grupo británico de rock, considerado uno de los mejores grupos musicales de la historia. Fue fundado en 1968 por el guitarrista Jimmy Page, quien había pertenecido a The Yardbirds, al incluir en su formación a John Paul Jones como bajista y teclista (al que Page conocía de trabajos anteriores con The Yardbirds), al vocalista Robert Plant y a John Bonham a la batería (que había coincidido con Plant en The Band of Joy).

Led Zeppelin presentó elementos de un amplio espectro de influencias, como el blues, el rock and roll, el soul, la música celta, la música india, el folk, e incluso el country.

Monster

Monster es una cancion de la banda estadounidense de Rock: Skillet. Monster es el primer sencillo del album Awake, el cual fue lanzado a la radio el 14 de julio del 2009 pero sin el gruñido distorsionado como en el single. Monster fue certificado platino vendiendo mas de 1 millon de copias en todo el mundo y siendo parte del top 5 del Active Rock Radio y con mas de 53 millones de visitas en Youtube.

Skillet es una banda Estadounidense de rock cristiano formada en Memphis, Tennessee, en 1996. La banda actualmente consiste en John y Korey Cooper, Jen Ledger y Seth Morrison. El grupo ha publicado hasta la fecha ocho álbumes de estudio, el más reciente Rise en el 2013. Dos de sus discos han recibido nominaciones al Grammy y han vendido más de dos millones de discos en los Estados Unidos. A lo largo de su carrera Skillet ha tenido varios cambios de alineación, dejando al vocalista y bajista John Cooper como el único miembro original del grupo que aún permanece en él. Hail to the King

Hail to the King es el sexto álbum de estudio de la banda de estadounidense de heavy metal, Avenged Sevenfold. El álbum fue lanzado al mercado el 26 de agosto de 2013 en los Estados Unidos con el sello discográfico de Warner Bros. Records y producido por los miembros de la banda.1 Este es el primer álbum de la banda con Arin Ilejay como el nuevo baterista de la banda y por tanto, también el primer álbum de la banda sin la participación del baterista y fundador de la banda, The Rev, quien falleció el 28 de diciembre de 2009. En 2010 se lanzó el álbum Nightmare, en el cual se incluyeron las grabaciones de «The Rev».

Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold (frecuentemente abreviado como A7X) es una banda estadounidense de heavy metal originaria de Huntington Beach, California, fundada por el baterista y vocalista Jimmy «The Rev» Sullivan en 1999. Avenged Sevenfold comenzó como una banda de género metalcore con su álbum debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet de 2001 y más tarde con su segundo álbum Waking The Fallen de 2003, en el que The Rev y M. Shadows utilizaron el estilo vocal screaming en muchas canciones de este álbum. La banda es principalmente conocida por la versatilidad de sus estilos musicales, sus dramáticas portadas en cada uno de sus álbumes y su logotipo: Deathbat.

Maggie May es una canción escrita por el cantante Rod Stewart y Martin Quittenton y grabado por Stewart en 1971 para su álbum "Every Picture Tells A Story".

"Maggie May", expresa la ambivalencia y las emociones contradictorias de un joven implicado en una relación con una mujer mayor, y fue escrito desde la propia experiencia de Stewart. Linkin Park - Castle of Glass

Linkin Park

Linkin Park es una banda estadounidense de rock procedente de Agoura Hills, California. Formada en 1996, el grupo estuvo inicialmente integrado por Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon y Mark Wakefield, este último como voz principal. La banda inició en ese mismo año sus primeros trabajos musicales de manera independiente y posterior a esto grabaron su primer material llamado Xero; sin embargo no tuvieron gran éxito en la búsqueda de un sello discográfico ya que ninguno mostró interés en su trabajo, lo que ocasionó la renuncia de Mark Wakefield. Poco después, Chester Bennington se incorporó a la banda como vocalista; el grupo realizó su primera presentación en un club de Los Ángeles y siendo respaldados por Jeff Blue, en aquel entonces vicepresidente de Warner Bros. Records, lograron firmar con el sello en 1999. El nombre del grupo es un juego de palabras haciendo referencia al Lincoln Park en Santa Mónica.

Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael Osbourne (Birmingham, Reino Unido, 3 de diciembre de 1948) es un cantante, músico y compositor británico de heavy metal con una carrera de más de cuarenta años de actividad. En sus inicios, fue parte de la formación original de la influyente banda de heavy metal Black Sabbath a la que se le atribuye ser creadora de dicho género, a finales de los años 60 y principios de los años 1970, para después iniciar una carrera como solista a principios de los años 80, logrando grandes éxitos y revolucionando nuevamente el género musical.3 Aparece en número 8 de los mejores vocalistas del metal según la revista Hit Parader, y en el número 2 según la revista Time Rock. Mr. Crowley es una canción dentro del género heavy metal interpretada por Ozzy Osbourne, escrita en colaboración con Bob Daisley y Randy Rhoads, publicada en el disco Blizzard of Ozz. La canción es uno de los primeros dos sencillos de Osbourne como solista luego de su salida de Black Sabbath. Alcanzó el puesto #28 en las listas británicas. El título hace referencia al famoso ocultista Aleister Crowley.

Queen - Sail Away Sweet Sister

Bon Jovi es una banda estadounidense de hard rock, formada en Nueva Jersey en 1983 por su líder y vocalista Jon Bon Jovi. Avenged Sevenfold (abreviado A7X) es una banda estadounidense de heavy metal1 originaria de Huntington Beach, California. Fundada por el baterista y vocalista Jimmy «The Rev» Sullivan en 1999. Avenged Sevenfold comenzó como una banda de género metalcore con su álbum debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet de 2001 y más tarde con su segundo álbum Waking The Fallen de 2003, en el que The Rev y M. Bob Dylan (n. Duluth, Minnesota, Estados Unidos; 24 de mayo de 1941), nacido como Robert Allen Zimmerman, es un músico, cantante y poeta estadounidense. Ha sido, durante cinco décadas, una de las mayores figuras en la música popular, siendo considerado uno de los compositores y músicos más influyentes y prolíficos del siglo XX.

Duquesne Whistile

«Duquesne Whistle» es una canción del músico estadounidense Bob Dylan publicada como primer sencillo promocional del álbum de estudio Tempest.
La canción fue compuesta con Robert Hunter, letrista y miembro de Grateful Dead, con quien Dylan colaboró anteriormente en dos canciones, «Silvio» y «Ugliest Girl in the World», del álbum Down in the Groove, publicado en 1988, y veinte años después en la mayoría de las canciones del álbum Together Through Life, publicado en 2009. El sencillo fue publicado en formato de descarga digital y en 7" coincidiendo con el Viernes Negro el 23 de noviembre, con una versión alternativa de «Meet Me in the Morning», originalmente publicada en el álbum Blood on the Tracks (1975), como cara B, y publicitada como un adelanto de The Bootleg Series Volume 11.

"Every Breath You Take" (En español Cada vez que respires) es una canción escrita por Sting, y originalmente interpretada por The Police. Aparece como parte del álbum Synchronicity, lanzado en el año 1983, y el sencillo se convirtió en un gran éxito ese año, perdurando hasta hoy como una de las referencias de la banda.

Gracias a este tema, Sting ganó el Grammy de la edición de 1984 a la canción del año, y The Police consiguió el premio a la Mejor actuación pop por un dúo o grupo. Además, está situado en la posición 84ª de la lista de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos según la revista Rolling Stone.

Fue publicada como un single por la disquera RCA Victor. En su publicación original alcanzó el lugar 69 en la lista Top 100 Billboard Singles.2 Fue grabada el 7 de marzo de 1968 en el estudio Western Recorders, en Hollywood, California. Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival (más conocida como CCR o Creedence) fue una banda estadounidense de rock con gran aceptación mediática y muy popular a finales de los años sesenta y comienzos de los setenta.

El grupo estuvo integrado por el cantante, guitarrista principal y compositor John Fogerty,su hermano el guitarrista rítmico Tom Fogerty, el bajista Stu Cook y el baterista Doug Clifford. El estilo musical de Creedence acompasaba el rock and roll y el género conocido como swamp rock.

Fortunate Son

"Fortunate Son" es una canción del grupo estadounidense Creedence Clearwater Revival incluida en el álbum Willy and the Poor Boys de 1969. Fue publicada como sencillo en septiembre de ese mismo año junto con el tema "Down on the Corner",1 alcanzando el puesto número 14 en los Estados Unidos y consiguiendo el disco de oro en diciembre de 1970.2 "Fortunate Son" se convirtió tras su publicación en una de las canciones más representativas del movimiento antibélico desatado a finales de los 60 en los Estados Unidos por su intervención en la guerra de Vietnam.

"Hi, Hi, Hi" es una canción escrita por Paul McCartney y lanzada por su banda Wings en diciembre de 1972. La canción se convirtió en una de las favoritas de los conciertos en vivo de Wings.

La canción fue prohibida por la BBC por sus letras supuestamente sugestivas.1 Diciendo que la frase del título, "We're gonna get hi, hi, hi" hace referencia al consumo de drogas.
